Web Sites for Radio Dealers

Many of you operate Two Way Radio Sales and Service organizations. You are busy enough operating your company. You know a web site could be a great way to advertise your business, but you don’t have the time to learn how, much less the time to keep it fresh and interesting to visitors.

We are now offering a new service exclusively for the Two Way Radio Dealer. We will design, install, host, manage, update, and report to you, a web site that could bring you new business.

The advantage we have over high priced web design services, is, we understand the Two Way Radio business, having been in it ourselves for 40 years. The cost of having your own web site is surprisingly low.

If you would like to discuss this further, go to the Contact Us page and send us a note.

Spam’s Curse

Some of the services provided on this web site have features that allow you to subscribe for notifications. This allows you to know when a new link has been added in a category you are interested in, or know when someone has posted a Private Message for you.

Unfortunantly, the proliferation of email spam has caused many individuals and ISPs to install spam blocking software that often incorrectly identifies these desired notification emails to be tagged as spam. Some systems totally prevent the email from being delivered.

Often, when this happens, an email is returned to us so that we know the email was not delivered. Recently there has been a significant increase in the number of these undelivered or rejected email notices.

If you are interested in receiving emails from us, or other internet services, consider this aspect of your email service. You may be able to set a parameter that lets mail you desire pass through to you.

In the meantime, we will disable this email notification feature on accounts that bounce emails.

Powell Out – Clinton legacy over at FCC

Michael Powell, son of Colin Powell, appointed to the FCC by Bill Cinton has resigned. During his term as Chairman we saw the FCC finally make a decision on the Nextel interference issue.

A good decision would have been better, but perhaps a bad decision will be better than none at all.

With him still on the job for a while, will there be any incentive to complete the negotiations before he leaves, or will the parties see an advantage on waiting for the limo to come to the door for him?

Looks like this will be an interesting year at the FCC.
