The Motorola DM4000 or MOTOTRBO DM4000 Series, as it is also called are Motorola 2 way radios. These mobile radios can be situated in an office as a fixed radios, ideal for office staff. The can be installed into vehicles as a mobile means of communication while travelling to jobs. Users such as traffic management, taxis, council operatives, property management companies to name just a few can benefit from a fixed mobile radio such as the DM4000 series. As digital mobile radios, they are able to work seamlessly with the latest Motorola R7 radios to deliver double the channel capacity without adding new licence frequencies, digital audio clarity, and integration into digital data applications.
There are 4 specific models, the Motorola DM4000, DM4401, DM4600 and DM4601. This means you can choose between alphanumeric and numeric display, GPS and non-GPS, UHF and VHF, with up to 1000 channels.
The Motorola DM4401 and Motorola DM4601 come with GPS and Bluetooth integration. Connecting these mobile radios to a MOTOTRBO system allows the tracking and moniotring of users out in the field. This is very handy as you can quickly see who is nearest to an urgent job and allocate accordingly.

All Motorola DM4000 Series radios are available in UHF and VHF frequency bands. The DM4400 and DM4401 have 99 channels, whereas the DM4600 and DM4601 have 1000 channels.

Only the DM4401 and the DM4601 have integrated GPS, which makes it easy to locate mobile work teams with a suitable MOTOTRBO system
Bluetooth and Embedded Audio
